Staging - We dress your home for sale

Staging is about creating impressions. Potential buyers should find the place attractive, bright, warm and functional enough to want to buy it. They should also be able to visualize how they would place their own furnishings.

Potential sellers tend to confuse de-cluttering with staging. De-cluttering is only part of the process. Staging is done after cleaning, painting and doing minor repairs to the spaces.

Let us help you perfect your space for sale.

"My kitchen project is finished and I would recommend Small Bernal to anyone contemplating a redo of their kitchen, in whole or part. Adrian Small evaluated my kitchen with her contractor and they both had good, and reasonable, ideas for the project. My goal was to have a new kitchen; Adrian made it new and attractive. The actual work took a bit longer than predicted (3-4 weeks, instead of 2-3 weeks) but that was insignificant in the overall scheme of things. The work was done well and what few problems occurred were immediately handled and resolved. And everyone involved was a pleasure to work with! Definitely five stars."

How is a kitchen priced?

There is a process to determine the total price of a kitchen remodel:

  1. Removal in the reverse order of installation of Appliances, plumbing, fixtures, counter tops and cabinets
  2. Plumbing and electrical should be done at this stage to accommodate new fixtures, appliances and lighting.
  3. If there is re-framing for the new kitchen. It involves drywall and soffits where necessary, patching and priming
  4. Sourcing and installation of new flooring when applicable
  5. Cabinet sourcing and installation
  6. Painting
  7. Counter top sourcing, installation and paint touch ups when necessary
  8. Fixture sourcing and installation
  9. Appliance sourcing and installation

Once you have added all these items up, you will have a pretty good idea of the investment required. If you have any more questions, please visit our section of "Ask the expert"
